Vinny Peculiar aka Alan wilkes is a Manchester based singer-songwriter; he’s released seven albums and three EPs, worked as an artist in residence with Bill Drummond [KLF, The 17] and his bands have included ex members of The Smiths, The Fall and OASIS.
Vinny writes kitchen sink confessional songs that celebrate the nuances of life and loss – from semen donation to suicide dads – the kind of songs that can make you blush and weep at the same time, confessional, poetic and compelling.
